Exclamation Redline 360c updated to v1.8

What’s New in Firmware v1.8
Cedar Electronics is happy to announce the release of version 1.8 firmware. We have made several minor improvements in this release which should continue to improve your experience with Redline 360c.

Enhancements:
• Slight improvement to Ka sensitivity
• Reduced false alerts from CAS sensors in GM vehicles (on-going development)
• Additional improvements for arrow transitions (on-going development)
• Minor bug fixes

How to Get the Update
If you are taking advantage of the Wi-Fi connection in your vehicle or have access to Wi-Fi, you will be prompted for the update once it becomes available. If you are not able to access Wi-Fi, you can connect Redline 360c to your computer via USB (https://www.escortradar.com/pages/update-your-device). There are two different links on the page depending on if you are using Windows or Mac OS.

Keep the Feedback Coming
We want to keep hearing from you! If you have feedback or suggestions on how to make Redline 360c even better, send an email to radarfeedback@cedarelectronics.com.

Since updating to 1.8 I cannot access the blue tooth connection with my phone. Why?

This happens sometimes with updates. You'll need to "forget" the device in your Bluetooth settings on your phone then you'll see it pop up again. Go ahead and choose it to connect then go back to the EL app and it will ask to "pair" the RL 360c and you'll be good to go.

Default Thanks!

Thanks for keeping the Redline 360c updated as well as you have. Escort used to be commonly cited for a lack of update support (specifically firmware) in the past, but clearly not now, at least with the Redline 360c. You are ensuring continued placement at the top of the premium radar detector category! And you are affirming our decision to pay for and own The Best!

I was thrilled to receive the email. I updated to v1.8 this morning via Detector Tools before I went out on my plan for the day. The RL360c preformed well and appeared to be less chatty and the arrows were good showing no ambivalence. I am really happy how the performance is being enhanced as time goes on.

What email did you get?

I used to get them for my max 360 but I don't see where to get them for the redline; although, truthfully, I got in my car this morning, and within 30 seconds of powering it on, the redline prompted me to update, so I guess I don't really need an email

Still getting those annoying BSM's from the new Caddy's and Acura's but the arrow transition is better and I do believe it is less chatty. Don't like hearing from other tests that it's less reactive on I/O shots. I've still got a lot of K band in my area and I need it to recognize these threats much quicker. If V1g2 and R3/R7 can do it so can Escort. Hopefully they will continue to refine this so it will become the top windshield detector (especially for the price we paid).
