I have the Laser Shifter Pro (for shifting / jamming LIDAR).

I have all of my equipment primarily because I'm a Search-and-Rescue volunteer with Team Yankee One (www.yankeeone.org), and because I want to be situationally-aware. When an emergency emerges, I load my "Go" kits and head to the emergency. It's necessary to be able to respond as quickly as possible, and arrive safely. I've worked thru several devastating tornado disasters. Some of the worst ones were: Joplin - 2011; Branson, MO - 2012; West Liberty, KY - 2012; Moore, OK - 2013; El Reno, OK - 2013.

FYI, I've been pulled over twice on my way to disasters, and both times the LEOs gave me warnings and well-wishes after they saw the emergency supplies and go gear in my car.

Thank you for that important work that you do. How did you get involved with that?

Is it of any value on the rear of a car in an area with LOTS of Laser Speed Cameras that "shoot" you from behind from very close range after you've passed the camera?
Short story if you are asking about Veil...NO. ... If you you mean LSP's then probably in some cases yes.

Tnx. I was asking about Veil. I see LSP is an Escort product. After many, many happy years with Escort products, after my few months with MAX 360 I'll not likely ever deal with them again.

I doubt that Veil would help much in this case because the source of the Laser is much closer to the vehicle than in typically-used LIDAR guns used by LEOS. If it is a permanent location, it's quite possible that it's already in the Defender database. If not, it should be reported. In the meantime, they can be marked manually.

I'll PM you. It gets a bit off-topic for this thread. Thanks for your interest!

NASCAR drivers can drive that close doing almost 200 mph. For the rest of us, especially on the highways, it would be a killer.

Need some help. Is there a way to set the 360 to "voice" the alert as well as the frequency? It shouts out the alert but the frequency is only displayed on the scanner and or the escort live. I would like to actually hear the frequency as well if possible.

That option is not available as far as I know.

Well, just finished week 2. Just when I thought about sending it back, it alerted on two LEOs. I am still wondering if it is worth the money spent. Will keep on testing it.
