Default 360 false alerts

Used Max 360 for the first time down I95 from NC to South Fla and back. Seems like there were a lot of false positives from all directions. Is this a sensitivity issue?

You tried to post this in the Announcements forum which is limited to only Escort announcements. Posts there are moderated, no one but "moderators" can see them. I moved it to here.

The good news is you are still relatively new in owning your 360 and over the next few weeks it will do a great job of "learning" where those falses are and locking them out which will continue to give you a quiet ride. I've had my 360 since they came out and it's one of the better all-in-one detectors I've owned. The falses continue to get locked out and the remaining CAS/BSM alerts Escort is currently working on a solution.

Give it some more time and I'd venture to say that you will be happy.

Pulled up behind a new Mercedes 350 last night on the way home from work. 360 lit up like a Christmas tree at about three car lengths. Probably the strongest return I've gotten from a car.

That is because the auto manufacturers are making cars for idiots who cannot drive. This Mercedes has their new COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS. This is especially for morons who do not know how to drive correctly and has all kinds of sensors shooting out radar waves of different types. The problem is that their even trying to let the cars brake for you swerve you into your lane and keep you from bumping someone, all of which could be prevented if people followed the proper rules of the road.

Here is their little statement about it:Radar-based technology alerts you if you're approaching a vehicle ahead, or even some stationary objects, at a speed and distance that suggest a collision is likely. As soon as the driver starts to brake, its Adaptive Brake Assist automatically provides the ideal level of braking, to help prevent a collision or reduce its severity. The system can also provide autonomous braking from speeds up to 65 mph, and can activate the features of PRE-SAFE

It all started when they mandated the installation of seat belts.

Commute around Boston for a few days and you'll come to appreciate anything that helps these idiots stay out of trouble. If they don't take you out, they take out someone else and you sit in the resulting traffic jams for hours on end.

I would love to see mandatory drivers testing every 5 years to maintain your license, but that'll never happen. So, anything to help is welcome. The RD manufacturers just need to invest to keep up with the changing technology.

Ahhh Yes. I remember the Mass-Holes well SOME people have been driving like idiots even back when I was a youngster York, PA. Nothing has helped prevent deaths so far, aside from speed limits and seat belts. Perhaps these new inventions will help save some more.
