Escort Live & Info Centers in our Cars

I used to be excited about Escort Live but that has passed. The App needs to be updated to interface and work with our cars Info Centers. Yes each car manufacture calls theirs something different. Example: Subaru is Starlink and Dodge is Uconnect. GM, Ford, Toyota etc. have their own names as well. App's like Whatsapp, Messenger and Waze all can be used and displayed on the dash display. Time for Escort to catch up. It could increase subscriptions to the App. I will let mine expire when times up. If it is ever updated to work in the car like Waze I will renew my subscription. Just my suggestion and two cents.

So far for those with Live capable Escort detectors the Live subscription will/should automatically renew at no charge. Only those who do not own a Live capable detector need to pay for the premium subscription.

The technology that you are referring to that allows apps on your phone to display on the car's dash is called "Carplay" (for iphones) and "Android Auto" (android phones).

Thats not true I have 3 live radar detectors and I had to purchase another 3 years and the live subscriptions has bugs. It keep telling me my subscripting has expired and I need to purchase one. I activated it like the website said and I still get this annoying message several time daily. The speed limit on some road are not the right speed limit and then some doesn't show any speed limit.

Unless something has recently changed if Live doesn't automatically renew and you own a live enabled detector you need to give Escort customer service a call to get the premium subscription extended.

Call Escort Radar customer service right after they open at 1-800-543-1608, option 2, available from 9am-5:30pm Eastern Time Mon-Fri. Wait for the pause following the message and use the option for a call back.
