There is at least 5 people at Russian RD-Forum.ru (biggest forum at .ru about radar-detectors) with different devices (9500 / MAX) and same empty database problem. We checked and after April update no radars in Russia. As soon as you go to any neighbour country in EU - everything is OK.
You wrote that database is OK.
We called to official Escort representative in Russia (Russian Game company) after few call forwards they said that only one person who theoretically know what could happens with database is on holidays and they cannot help.
The question is how to elicit truth by discussion? Do you need videos or some files from Escort Detector Tools folder or what?

So looks like you finally fixed troubles with database in Russia, isn't it? No radars = no problems....

Very few people here write from Russian users. Perhaps your database contains 9000 speed cameras. BUT, alas, it does not work.

I'm using the device ESCORT Passport 9500ix RU

When will you finally deal with this problem?
Your premium product costs a lot of money, and in fact any cheap Chinese device is far superior to your product.

The 9500ix does not have enough memory to support all Russian camera locations. Only the MAX International has enough memory to support the entire camera location database.

Find a way to fix this!
What is your device one-time? I now throw it in the trash?
I'm only interested in the Russian base. Remove or give the user the option to download only the content he needs.

Why did not I get an error message while updating the device? If the device does not have enough memory, then at the time of the update I should have received a message about it. My upgrade process was successful, without failures. If the device's memory is full or the device is unable to receive the file larger than the maximum volume, then there should be an error message. Why is my device working normally in Belarus and does not work in Russia at the same time? After all, the database of updates is the same for the whole of Europe.
