Default No audible

None. No audible at all. Detector shows visual alerts, just no audible.

When I power it up, there is no beep.

I've had it about 3 months.

Anyone had this problem?

Just developed the same issue this morning. I'm on my second Redline, the first having been replaced under warranty for a failed speaker. Looks like it's failed again. I'll contact CS first thing Monday.

Thanks!

Good grief, I thought I was buying top quality.

Yes, based on my own experiences and others I've seen here in the forum, it's not uncommon for the speaker to fail prematurely. It's frustrating, given the cost of the RedLine. Especially since its so solid in all other respects and performs so well.

I'd advise anybody considering a purchase to get the extended warranty. There's a good chance you might need it.

It needs a new speaker, send it in and they will have it fixed and back to you pretty quick. And for 30 bucks the extended warranty is a great buy.

Oh, great! It started working again this morning. After a week of silence.

Then stopped again this afternoon. Then started again.

Nothing like an intermittent problem!

I didn't call support yesterday, cause I have a road trip Saturday. I'd rather have a silent detector than no detector at all.

When it started working this AM, I immediately cut back on the volume to less than half, hoping that would protect it. No such luck.

I'll see how it does the next few days. Maybe it is a connection problem, and not the speaker itself.
