Default segmenting "K" band? how?

Can you segment K band?
if so ...I dont remember how to do it.
I wanna turn off certain frequencies so it stops blasting for every car going down the road.

or is it either on or off k band.

thanks!

It's been covered here. You don't have a lot of options without blocking out legitimate sources. http://escortradarforum.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=15430

RedLine does not offer K band segmenting. It can only segment Ka band.

As a member posted, even if you could it is risky to segment to K band. K band is a narrow band. Police can be anywhere on it. Not so with superwide Ka band, although they do sometimes drift slightly out of the normal Ka 2,5,8 segments.

Your best option is to upgrade to a MAX digital detector. They offer the best filtering available, and the best performance while filtering at this level. Time to jump into the digital age! You won't regret, well that is unless you miss those insane 9 mile alert distances in the desert that a RedLine is known for MAX detectors are eerily quiet yet detect radar in plenty of time to react, even the quickest of instant-on signals, and without the need to segment.

As a former Redline owner from back when it was first released I can say how much I loved the super charged ultimate range like you mentioned. However I would never ever go back from the newer digital 360c unit that I currently run. I have noticed while running that range is still great but I literally have almost eliminated all the false alerts with my GPS automatically learning and the new IVT filter that you have implemented.

I have been running Escort Detectors for a number of years. Very glad to have joined this forum today and look forward to helping others and learning more. Escort truly is an amazing brand. Keep up the awesome work!
