Default IX not detecting red light camera after update

I just updated my Escort IX database and since I did I am not getting notifications about red light cameras. I drive through several of them every day, and they always alerted me before the update. Has anyone else had this problem or any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

From EscortRadar: We have confirmed this issue and are looking into it. I will post updates about it here in this thread. The solution most probably will be in the form of firmware and/or database updates so please do not set up a service order if you are experiencing this. In the meantime use the Escort Live app to receive alerts to all cameras.

Maybe we removed these cameras from the database. Reply here with an intersection or two, and the city and state, and I'll look them up in the database.

Southbound University drive at Oakland Park Blvd, and Eastbound Oakland Park Blvd at NW 60th St, both located in Sunrise Fl. Both show up on Escort Live when my phone is on, but not the detector. Thanks.

I have the same issue.
I have reset my iX, cleared all locations, updated via detector tools and still had the same issue with my iX not recognizing known and in service speed cameras and red light cameras.
I called and got an RA to return it for service

I confirmed that both of these locations are in Defender. Try merging Defender on your detector again. If afterwards you continue to not receive alerts there when using your detector without Escort Live then please let me know.

Did you "update" or "merge"? Merging is what puts the latest Defender database onto your detector. Updating updates the detector's operating software/firmware, it doesn't do anything to the Defender database.

I merged the database. On the way to work each day I normally pass through 2 red light cameras. One on southbound University drive at Oakland Park Blvd, and the other on eastbound Oakland Park Blvd at NW 60th St, both in Sunrise Florida. After remergeding, the detector picked up the one on University Dr, but not the one on eastbound Oakland. Escort Live picked up both. However, I don't think that only 2 red light cameras is a good way to judge whether or not there might be a problem with the GPS in the detector, so this weekend I am going to drive around town and see what known cameras are detected. If only the one is not detected, then I can set it as a marked location and go from there.

On a side note, and please correct me if I am wrong, but I have my IX set to show MPH on the detector, which I believe is set through GPS. I turned on Escort Live on the way to work, and watched the readings for MPH on both the detector and Escort Live. Both were only 1 MPH off my car speedometer, which I find pretty amazing. My question is if the GPS on the detector was not working properly, wouldn't that give false MPH readings? Just wondering.

Thank you again for all your assistance in this matter.

Camera alerts take your heading into consideration before alerting. If you approach a camera from a non-enforced direction then you should not get an alert to it. This, and/or spotty GPS reception, could be what's causing intermittent alerts only at certain locations.

If you lose GPS reception then the speed indicator on your detector should go blank (no number displayed). Your current speed on the detector is measured by the detector's built-in GPS chip. Escort Live uses your phone's GPS for its speed.

My new IX (one month old) just stoped reporting red light and speed camera locations that I know are active. After reading some other reports of this issue I have followed what others have done. I deleted the entire data base on the detector and reinstalled it.
I hope this issue will go away quickly as I will be using the detector today. I can not up date the firmware so it must be up to date.
