Angry Why NO Avg Speed Cams in INTL version?!!

I know and everybody knows that of course Escort products able to manage with Avg Speed Cameras and have them in Defender database.
Imagine my vexation when I discovered that INTL version of MAX doesn't have no one Average Speed Camera in Defender at least in Russia (I didn't check yet other Europe countries)!!!
How it's possible in XXI century for premium product like Escort?!!

I have looked in owner's manual for INTL version and at page 13 I have seen that INTL version have in menu Avg Speed Camera and in turned on by default.
So I guess that's mean INTL firmware supports Avg Speed Cams but there is no existing points in Defender database for Russia.

In database for Russia you have each Avg Speed Cam marked just like 2 ordinary and independent Speed Cams. You have two separate warnings on each and that's all.
This is absolutely crazy because there a lot of Avg Speed Cams in Russia!

For example, 107pcs only in Moscow region + 31 directly in Moscow city. Approx. 900 in Russia totally!
The longest one I know is approx. 62km (40 miles) - mean you have to keep in mind for hour that you at Avg Speed Cam area! Also I know two 30km (20 miles) no so far from Moscow.
So using of Escort in Russia is like playing Russian roulette (sorry for battology).

Especially consider that at Avg Speed Cam in the middle can be also ordinary Speed Cams installed so it's absolutely impossible to understand with Escort MAX INTL what's happening - are you at average speed control segment or not.

I don't know what source is used to Defender database in
Russia but obviously it is incorrect. Or incorrectly converted from source to Escort format.

I heard that local official representative responsible for camera database so had contact with our local dealer ( but they answered that it is Escort guilt and they can't bear down Escort because Russian market too small and not interesting for Escort.

Considering that it is premium radar detector and top-priced (I paid 707$ for this) users in Russia feel like a bit cheated. Of course Escort MAX advertising like RD catching ALL radars - and theoretically it's true but you see that situation with Avg Speed Cams is terrific.

Especially when cheap Chinese RD's priced 100-200$ have camera bases much better compare to Escort (this is not only my personal opinion) and some of them can be updated daily, weekly, whenever you want from free database, not only monthly like Escort.

Would like to hear from Escort officials when problem with Avg Speed Cams will be fixed.

Max International definitely supports alerting to Average Speed Cameras. We will look into this. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
