Any future possibility of having the SmartMirror connect and integrate with the USB on the 9500ix?

I'm sure it is possible but I haven't heard anything connecting the 9500ix to the SmartMirror.

Oh, I'll bet that you guys are dreaming up all kinds of neat ways to marry a full GPS system with radar detectors. To me, that seems to be the next logical step. I can think of a half dozen really neat and useful features that such a system would provide to drivers.

Hmmm......a GPS unit with built in radar protection, the ultimate stealth!!!one less cord to route around the dash, passerby have no idea your radar protected.A dash mounted unit that looks just like a normal GPS unit. Or an in dash model with radar/laser mounted in the front grill.
Now if you guys invent this, all I'm asking for is 5% of the profits.

Escort's new CEO and revamped management team over the past couple of years really does seem to have given their engineers a lot of free reign to dream up and develop new products. I consider Escort/Beltronics to be a very agressive company which produces products which customers actually want to buy and use, rather than simply flooding the market with junk as one of their competitors (which I won't name) does.

As more & more Countries place bans on Detectors, the more useful such as system would become.
In Australia, RDs (& naturally Shifters!) are banned everywhere except for Western Australia. So basically 80%+ of the population can't legally run a detector. Additionally, there's a growing backlash building against unfair speed camera systems, both fixed & mobile, as being purely revenue raising. Surely the market for a fully stealth system must be growing around the world. So, here's the system: Smartmirror with built in GPS, wirelessly linked to the components of the STi-R Plus & 9500ci. It would have the band segmentation, quad shifters (2 front, 2 rear), & GPS lockouts for false signals (door openers, etc) By having all the components wirelessly connected, the M3 anntenae & shifters could be hardwired for power, as could the Smartmirror. The only downside would be that it wouldn't be portable to another car, but geez, I'd take a full stealth setup over a detector hanging off the windscreen, which may get me pinged by the Cops. It seems as though Belscort have all the components available already, it just needs to be all linked for the perfect stealth system.
