Default Bean bag dash mount--what do U think??

New guy,
Many years of Escort use, just retired a 8500 50x--new redline, not even a week old.
That said I have always mounted on dash with--(hook and loop) I kinda like down low out of sight--we have 3 vehicles, that we move the RD around in.
I have a bean bag for the GPS, and like it---what do you'all think about the bean bag for say the redline.
Thanks, Rocky in NM

Personally Rocky, I don't care for the bean-bag idea. I have never owned one and had used to use Velcro™ for dash mount way back in the day. Today it is mirror mount and Super Cup™. It was never considered simply because I have visions of the RD flying off the bean bag and across the dash in a hard right turn.

Rocky -

I can't comment about the bean-bag for a detector but I didn't have good luck with the bean-bag for my GPS. (that's what I get for buying from the dollar store).

Make sure your Redline sees over the wipers of the different vehicles. You don't want to block the detectors lense.

Krazy-K - If I had a car like yours, I'd be worried about the same thing

LOL Dan! I have stressed the hook and loop more than a few times!!

Call me when you get that Challenger built and we'll meet near N. Dakota!

Deal! Haha....was looking through some ads last week and saw a 73 Dodge Charger that looked good enough to be the starting point for a restoration project. I'll keep looking because one of these days a Challenger may show up and I may not be able to resist taking a dive.

Warmer days are just around the corner....
