Default Sti-R Plus, just one beep/chirp

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has this issue. I have a Stir-Plus installed on my car and sometimes when I'm traveling, I get a KA chirp from the Plus. I see the frequency on the display and then no other sounds. No ramp up, nothing. The frequency still stays on until I pass the threat. Meanwhile I have a Redline in the car and its alerting all the time when the PLus is silent

I have automute set to OFF and traveling over 40MPH on the highway.

I've sent the receiver in once before just a FYI

Thanks

Please use the Beltronics forum for Beltronics related questions.

Are you traveling under 20 mph when this happens? If so then that is by design. The audio should alert normally when you exceed 20 mph. The RedLine has no similar feature.

If it were me I would check the speaker make sure it's connected well, and there's no problems there. If you are over 20MPH it should be alerting .

Might need to send it in.

I would also have the pilot mode set to "speed" and see if your speed is being measure accurately to make sure there isn't a glitch there.

Email me or PM me I'll be glad to help you trouble shoot it since I am pretty familiar with these units. I know the remotes are the last thing we want to send in unless it's the last resort.
