I got the new mount yesterday and have only used it with the Redline so far. The only reason I got one is because with the standard mount my Redline bounces alot on the windshield and about a week ago the suction cups froze and when I mounted my Redline in the morning it feel of the window but it luckily hit the passenger seat.
I liked the look of the prototype mount they sent 100 members last year, but the suction cups didn't hold well in the winter. And on heavily sloped windshields the 9500ix was hard to mount, I had no issues with the STi and RX-65 because they have a flatter top. Super Cup Pro's/Con's Pro's 1. Holds the RD very sturdy 2. Sticks to the windshield very well 3. I like the lever that keeps pressure on the suction cup. 4. Looks like it will work better for really cold environments. Con's 1. I don't really like the look of the mount. 2. In my Mustang the RD is really far back in the car.
