Just wondering... does anyone else also feel like there has been a lot less radar activity lately. I have the Redline and I know its working when I go past the speed signs and when I can clearly see cops using radar when it is on. However, I fell like there has been a lot less K and KA band lately. What do you all think? Also, how is laser in the Glendale-Phoenix and sometimes Scottsdale area?

In Glendale, I found that laser is used during the daylight hours by bike Leo's and car units run 34.7 and 35.5 ka. No k band threats have have ever been encountered. Leo's rarely use c/o so beware for the QT and i/o radar hits.

Default Nice to see more AZ members

Hey guys good to see that its not just me out in az anymore. Yeh I feel like their hasn't been that many detection either. keep in mind since they have got rid of the speed cameras on the hwy they have hired more undercover cops to drive the highways. One thing I learned about that is they are only estimating your speed because if your radar doesn't go off that most likely mean he just saw you past him and he was guessing your speed. So if you ask him what his radar said and he does say anything he was guessing and he can't write you a ticket for that. Another tip I learned his ask the officer last time he got his radar calibrated and if they don't know then he most likely wont right you a ticket. Now don't get me wrong you can't pass them going 150mph and say officer I wasn't speeding! lol Nice meeting you all. Do any of you attend to the car show in scottsdale. They have it every Saturday, I believe it starts at 6pm!

Hi djdredre! What RD are you running w/Live? Where in Scottsdale is the car show? I'm having pretty great encounters/saves with my Valentine 1 v3.813 and the STi Magnum w/Live! Although, I got a ticket a couple months back. It turns out that I was PACED by a Tempe Moto LEO who was hard to spot behind me a half mile back. No Radar or Lidar was used that time so keep your eyes peeled everyone!

Default South Chandler covered

I just got it today and have both a 8500x50 and 9500ix... Don't leave home without the radar!! Mostly on my motorcycle though with droid mounted and bluetooth into helmet, Works awesome. Car show they are talking about is every Sat at Scottsdale Pavilions(Indian Bend and 101), starts about 4 or 5 and and goes till 11 or later... great time.
