I live in a State where laser shifters are shall we say....frowned upon. I needed a stealth install and mostly I needed the capability to turn it off very quickly. I didnt want to look down to turn it off so I had a switch installed by my dead pedal to turn it off with a push of my left foot. I saw it on an M3 forum and liked what the guy had done so I did it for my cayman s. It's a switch that was used to turn on the highlights on a car. I am really pleased with how it turned out.
Originally they installed the shifters behind a cross hatch and claimed it wouldnt make a difference because it was plastic, but I still asked them to move it to be unhindered Its hard to see it by standing and looking in Flush install in the ashtray The button on the deadpedal |
