Mirror dimensions vs GPS display area?

How physically large is the SmartMirror (dimensions) and what percentage of it is taken up by the mirror itself vs how much display screen area is dedicated to the GPS? From pictures the GPS display looks awfully small. Going through big cities it's nice to be able to see some map detail with a quick glance without distracting you to much from the task of driving.

You would think that the manufacturer would see this site as a marketing tool and actually answer questions, but apparently not. I just went out and measured mine:
the whole unit is 11.25" X 3"
the mirror itself is 6.5" X 2"
the map/display screen is 3.5" X 2"
the rest is framing.
